About

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Goergen Institute of Data Science at the University of Rochester. I work on theoretical problems at the intersection of computer science and economics, particularly in computational social choice. Recently, I have worked on virtual democracy, liquid democracy, and fairness in machine learning. I was previously at the University of Toronto for a postdoc working with Nisarg Shah. Before that, I completed my PhD degree in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University, where I was fortunate to be advised by Ariel Procaccia. Even before that, I completed my undergraduate degree in computer science at Harvard College, where I worked with David Parkes on dynamic kidney exchange.
