My main interests involve autonomous vehicle development and deep neural networks. I have conducted research on optimal control through reinforcement learning. I'm also a strong believer in tech-for-good—I have designed heavy-lifting multicopters to autonomously deliver relief and aid supplies to disaster-stricken areas. My work with Drones For Humanity made me a Finalist for the Thiel Fellowship in 2017. In my free time, I take on long-term projects just for fun. In addition to the actual "making", I enjoy architecting the entire system—in 2019, I built a street-legal vehicle from scratch, designing everything from the chassis structure to the entire internal communications network.
