I have 14 years of professional experience in the social development sector among which most are in the sub-sectors of communication & advocacy of not-for-profit organizations. Currently being engaged as Advocacy specialist of a national program by UNDP in Bangladesh which deal with policy restructuring in coordination the donors. Extensive working experience in communication & advocacy, Material development, advocacy strategy, poverty reduction and governance sector, Report writing,experience in strategy formulation, implementation and follow up, budget management, reporting, material development, networking, manuscript development, printing management, proposal development and Project Cycle Management (PCM); In my current position I also prepare project proposals and reports as required, concept papers, and project reports in coordination with the country office. I have worked with international organizations e.g. UNDP, Plan International, Room to Read as well as renown national organizations e.g. Bishaw Shahittyo Kendra (World Literature Centre), APIT. I worked as a Journalist with 3 national media.. I also have experience working as a consultant with ActionAid, ADD, NFOWD, etc.
