About
I am a Graduate Student at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am a quick learner with a passion to learn new things and am always up for new challenges. During my undergraduate degree, I worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Infineon Technologies. In the past, I have worked on several projects in my domain, including a blink-detection and monitoring system that leverages computer vision and lowers the occurrence of dry-eyes by prompting the user to blink more frequently, if their blink-rate is lower than a threshold value. I have also developed a Restaurant Recommender System that is based on content-based filtering and implements cosine similarity. During my sophomore year, I took up a research project in the domain of autonomous cars. I reviewed and analyzed the developments in the autonomous car industry and proposed multiple solutions to the challenges in the development and deployment of autonomous cars, such as implementing a ride-sharing model to lower the costs and using real-time image processing and smarter environments to overcome the difficulties in determining the relative vehicle location. I have been involved in many volunteering efforts. In co
