About

My hope is to leave the world better than I found it by creating an equitable food system that fosters both human and planetary health for future generations. I am passionate about sustainable nutrition education, research, and communication as key areas that can enable the restructuring of our food system to serve all people. I believe we can address massive intersectional issues of health by advancing and developing food and nutrition innovations in the alternative protein industry. My meaningful experiences in direct public health initiatives and clinical nutrition research have led me to seek opportunities that deeply consider the "how" and "why" certain foods end up on our plate. I am pursuing an M.S. in Nutrition Science & Food Policy at Tufts University to gain a greater understanding of food systems thinking as an approach to solving food insecurity and climate change.
