I’m passionate about people, startups, and building things that are meaningful — not just scalable. It gave me a solid foundation in how (and why) companies invest — and how hard it is to grow at corporate scale. It taught me to appreciate both structure and struggle. Scaling a Startup (CSO, Sunteng – China) Left banking to join a bootstrapped adtech startup in China. We scaled from 15 to 150+ people. I worked across strategy, finance, ops, and product — and helped launch JV teams in Singapore & HK. I was humbled by the pace and daily chaos of scaling. You build systems on the fly — and grow as fast as the business does. Doer at Slush Ran the flagship VC & tech conference in China. What stood out was Slush’s student-powered model — and how giving young talent real responsibility can lead to incredible things. Building 0 to 1 (Co-founder, Guanxi – first attempt failed) We tried to build a personal CRM to help people scale belonging. I still believe in the vision, but the market wasn’t big enough to support the company we hoped to build
