About

Embedded systems engineer with an unusual background: cognitive scientist, market analyst, interactive tech artist, educator. I’ve published research on how language shapes adult reasoning, built biofeedback art that responds to brainwaves (Neuroflowers), run a successful Kickstarter for a mobile maker studio, and taught creative problem-solving to kids and adults. Now I ship IoT firmware and debug Kubernetes in production. The common thread is understanding how things work. That path means I think about systems holistically—and I care about having a positive impact on people and society. TECHNOLOGIES: C/C++, Python, JavaScript, ESP-IDF, Arduino, PlatformIO, REST APIs, WebSockets, Flask, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Firebase, Git, CI/CD, Bluetooth, CAD (Solidworks, Rhino, Fusion360) INTERESTS: Internet of Things, LED art, biofeedback, AI / deep learning, VR / AR / XR, human-centered design, cognition, wearables, education, product design, robotics, sustainability, applied science
