About

Hello! My life mission is to bring more delight into the world, preferably through things that are a little weird, surprisingly thoughtful, and very real. I’m the founder of Midnight Mansion, an immersive entertainment company that builds in-person experiences. We blend creative technology, engineering, interactive entertainment, and a healthy amount of "let’s see if this works." I used to teach product design at MIT. These days I spend my time designing, prototyping, and shipping interactive systems that have been touched and generally poked at by millions of people. I hope those moments have brought at least a little delight (or, at minimum, a good story). I care about the craft, but also the people - the ones who experience the work as well as the ones who build it. I like moving fast, but I’m always chasing that sweet spot where something feels magical and still holds up in the real world.
