James Mishra is founder and CEO of Soundryx, which builds large-scale sensor networks for industrial and national security.James has spent his career looking for hidden signals in datasets. He began in government, at NASA, the National Security Agency, and the Department of Energy. Later, he fell in love with Silicon Valley, joining Uber in 2015 as their second-youngest engineer.After Uber, he founded Neocrym, a company training AI models on music audio to identify undiscovered songs with licensing potential.As cheap drone aircraft began wreaking havoc in conflict zones worldwide, James transformed Neocrym's AI into Soundryx's first product: an acoustic sensor network that detects enemy drones that evade traditional air defenses.Today, Soundryx builds counter-UAS detection for industrial sites and critical infrastructure. james.mishra@soundryx.com
