I love helping people and companies unlock their full potential. I started out as a research scientist at BT before moving into technology scouting, which opened the door to a venture-backed startup and eventually to founding my own company. At STFC, I led the spin-out of technologies as Head of Entrepreneurship, helping projects get off the ground and secure their first funding. I spent 12 years leading HEPTech, the CERN-founded tech transfer network, and played a key role in creating the UK’s CERN and ESA incubators. I’ve seen innovation from both the UK and global perspectives. My superpower is helping innovators explain the value of their idea. I take complex ideas and shape them into clear, compelling messages that resonate with customers, investors, and partners. Negotiation is another strength; I focus on finding outcomes where everyone wins, and I’m often asked to facilitate tricky or high-level conversations.
