I’m a former entrepreneur who’s passionate about developing products at the intersection of AI, privacy, and safety. I currently lead Instagram’s Privacy, Security, and Regulatory Readiness teams, which are responsible for protecting Instagram users and managing multi-billion dollar compliance risks. During my 6+ year tenure at Meta, I founded the company’s External Data Misuse organization to prevent unauthorized data collection (i.e. scraping), built industry-leading AI-based privacy solutions for managing data use across all Meta products, and directly represented Meta in external engagements with regulators. Prior to Meta, I co-founded a startup (backed by Y Combinator) with a successful exit that developed AI-based enterprise software for sales teams (customers included SurveyMonkey, Netskope, etc.). I am also an active angel investor and advisor for a number of startups and previously was a nationally competitive debater.
