We've designed the world for incredible ease and convenience but not for the friction that makes life meaningful. Technology hasn't improved our ability to rebuild social fabric or foster genuine belonging in our communities and workplaces. And yet, organisations still invest thousands in offsites and training, hoping people will feel more connected only to watch them leave just as disconnected as before. Connection isn't luck or chemistry — it's a design challenge. And the organisations that treat it that way are the ones building cultures people actually want to be part of. That's where I come in. --- In 2016, as a Project Manager, I got tired of social events where 'What do you do?' was the only question anyone asked so I went on a mission to find the formula for meaningful conversations. I started by bringing 21 strangers into a room for deep conversation. That experiment led to over 150 events, and a business built through word of mouth.
