About
I am a neuroscience researcher with over a decade of industry experience in software engineering, and machine learning, now seeking to deepen my understanding of neurobiology to apply these skills to clinically meaningful problems. I am currently researching impulse control disorders as a master's student, with broader interests in neuropsychiatry and translational approaches that bridge computation and biology. My technical background enables me to immediately support labs with data analysis, imaging pipelines, and reproducible research workflows across modalities. I'm also strongly committed to advancing my wet-lab skills, building on my master’s thesis using human iPSC-derived neurons to study pharmacological modulation of synaptic signaling via calcium imaging. Computational tools are valuable, but only experimental neuroscience allows us to develop the biological interventions that can change patients’ lived realities, not just observe them.
