I work across venture capital and academia. I care about the creation and sustainable sharing of knowledge, and fine-grained studies of practice. I love communication that is visual, jargon-free, and simple. I am anti-work because I see beauty in the refinement of craft (i.e., practice). I ran Southeast Asia's first and Singapore's only Student VC fund, "Protégé Ventures", investing in early-stage student founders. PV operates across 3 pillars: (1) Investments, (2) Education, (3) Ecosystem Partnerships. I also research and publish work on "Innovation Studies" – encompassing both 'innovation' (the technology) & 'innovating' (the process). My work typically overlaps Information Systems, Anthropology, Management Science, and Communications. My background is in web development, UIUX, and visual arts. In my free time, I write poetry. I published my first anthology, "While I Watched the Airplanes" ✈️, at 18! It is available internationally at major retailers.
