About

I come from a background of robotics competitions and tech startups- doing whatever it takes to ship the working unit on time- which has given me a pretty broad background of skills and experience. However, the one constant has always been bare metal C firmware. I'm currently working on wired (USB PD) and wireless (Qi) power delivery firmware at Renesas. My experience here has ranged from optimizing embedded ECDSA to developing digital filters to demodulate ones and zeroes from a wireless power signal. I'm most interested in world-bettering technologies in the vein of green energy, permaculture, and a circular economy. In other words, I'm that special kind of hippie engineer that they only make at UC Santa Cruz.
