About

I'm a Developer Educator. I write demo apps, tutorials, and technical guides for API and developer tools products, helping make the highest quality tools accessible to a broader group of developer-users. I'm a former high school English teacher, and use my knowledge of instructional design and educational psychology to craft content that engages readers and scaffolds concepts for deeper learning. I'm a writer who focuses on clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for all audiences. I advocate for high quality, inclusive documentation through engagement in online communities and in conference talks. I'm a web developer with experience in Flutter/Dart, Unity, React, Node, Django REST,.NET, SQL, Snowflake, and more. I'm particularly experienced with integrating new APIs into multiple frameworks, and using my experience to improve developer experience for my clients. My technical specialty is learning - I'm a generalist who looks for common principles that help me understand and explain similarities between different technologies, and I revel in research.
