About
My work is rooted in lived experience—while fighting a chronic health condition that forced me to drop out of university at age 19, I founded Human Hacker House, a nonprofit health innovation space with advisors from NASA Ames, Singularity University, and the Thiel Foundation. My perspectives on patient care and mental health have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire USA, and New Scientist UK. As a patient advocate and guest speaker, I've spoken with various academic, industry, and lay audiences (Stanford, UCLA, TheNextWeb Europe, Health 2.0, Silicon Valley Health Technology Forum, China Emerging Technology forum), and appeared as a health advisor in the documentary Smart Drugs, sharing insights that bridge the gap between clinical research and patient experience. As a former nationally competitive speedskater and 140-mile Ironman triathlete, I bring the discipline and precision of elite athletics to healthcare innovation.
