About

I am an engineer, creator, and founder...that occasionally lectures, writes, and skis. I've been in tech for 20 years, I founded a venture backed company (Blendoor). I did a stint in venture capital (Equity Alliance), and I've lectured...a lot (MIT, Harvard Kennedy School, Ohio University, Smith, Stanford, SF State, and Wharton). I am a proud board member at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and executive director at Visible Figures. I am grateful to have been seen: awards (Fortune 40u40, MIT TR 35u35, Gaingels 100, Recode 100, SXSW, Tech.Co), stages (TED, NY Times DealBook, Computer History Museum, Grace Hopper, Google, SAP, NBMBAA, JFF), magazines (The Atlantic, MIT Tech Review, Delta Sky Magazine), books, and press (NPR, TechCrunch, Forbes, Vanity Fair, Essence, Bloomberg, Black Enterprise).
