Research Interests: Mechanics of complex fluids; control theory and information processing in soft matter; out of equilibrium dynamics; active and responsive fluids / soft materials, viscoelasticity, surface tension, thin-films and bubbles. Launching the Kroo Lab at PSE UMass Amherst in September 2025. PhD in mechanical engineering from Stanford (advisor: Prof. Manu Prakash). Postdoc work wrapping up presently in the lab of Prof. Gareth McKinley at MIT.
