I co-lead the founding AI R&D team at Invisible, a ~$2B company building the AI operating system for the enterprise. We take the experimental bets that land 6 to 18 months ahead of client demand.Day to day I build and ship: LLM-with-human self-improving systems, adversarial eval automation, synthetic data generation, and RL environments. I work across a core team of hundreds and a network of 5,000+ domain experts, alongside leading researchers and operators in AI, tech and finance.Before Invisible I founded and ran ventures from zero. I built an ML and crowdsourcing platform (Race Yourself / WeSeeThrough) through to acquisition, founded Drafter via Entrepreneur First, and spent four years as CEO of a philanthropic foundation directing AI-safety research funding alongside Oxford and Cambridge academics. In between I did two years of independent AI engineering consulting on LLM applications, prompt systems and evals.I came to AI from engineering proper, an MEng from UCL, and I have been shipping software since running an iOS app agency in the early App Store.
