My name's Samantha and I'm an 18 y/o originally from Toronto passionate about empowering women in STEM and creating global impact with emerging tech. I'm super interested in developing blockchain projects and leveraging my knowledge in chemistry for social good. I'm currently exploring the world of biomaterials/soft matter and their applications in deep tech. 👩‍💻 My passion for advancing gender equity in STEM was born out of a desire to stand up for myself against my own experiences of discrimination and ostracization. In July 2020, I founded Superposition Toronto, a non-profit dedicated to bridging the gender gap in STEM by creating educational opportunities and supportive communities that has since reached 33K+ individuals in 84+ countries in all inhabited continents.
