Digital native who enjoys expressing myself through making software. I currently work at US News on the Autos team, where I have built multiple full-stack projects. My work and projects demonstrate expertise in React, Vue, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. I also have experience with LLMs, tool agents, and AI coding agents. As someone who got a leg up early in my career with the help of non-profits Base11 and Code2040, I now pay it forward by volunteering in varied roles for Code2040, Hack the Hood, the MADE, /dev/color, and Hidden Genius. I'm looking for frontend roles that involve just as much time spent coding as time spent directly with users and customers really getting to understand their problems and then design and implement solutions for those problems. Long term, I'm looking to go into engineering management. I'd want to work for later-stage startups, medium-size companies, or corporates but always close to the end user.
