I hail from Chicago, where my founding journey began in high school with a nationwide nonprofit focused on the Darfur genocide - work significant enough to earn a dedicated chapter in the book Not On Our Watch by Don Cheadle and John Prendergast. My gap year took me across the globe: teaching English in Tibet, advancing Darfur activism in Washington DC, and farming barley in Iceland. At Harvard, I raised my first angel investment, led one of campus's fastest-growing clubs, and explored an eclectic mix of government, English, and philosophy departments. It was also where I trained my first AI model. After graduation, I took an unexpected turn: landscaping at a North Carolina summer camp, spending nights in my cabin poring over computer science books, knowing I was preparing to start a company. A four-month stint at a New York City company proved enlightening - both in what not to do (like skipping four levels of management to bring ideas directly to the COO) and in spotting crucial problems: sales managers struggling to understand and coach their teams without visibility into sales calls.
