About

I am a Professional Actor, Director, Acting Coach & Teacher. As a character actor, I've worked in every form of theater, from Musicals to Shakespeare, Theatre of the Absurd to traditional plays, as well as in Voice work. I have a specialization in Improvisational Theater. As a teacher, I work with totally terrified beginners to professional actors and directors. I also work with business people, Educators & Therapists. As a director, I work in everything from scripted plays to completely improvised theater. I now direct film and video projects. The last project I produced & directed was a magazine style television program, WAKE UP OAKLAND - Bullying (find on YouTube), for OWH Television Studios, Oakland. My specialties include: Live Theater, Film, Video and Original Scripts - Improvisation as basic acting and directing techniques. Use of Psycho-Drama & Socio-drama to create original theater about personal and social issues. Theater Games of Viola Spolin are my specialty. Traditional scripted theater training as well. Since moving to Berkeley, I played Lady Bracknell in THE IMPORTANCE of BEING EARNEST and Miss Daisy in DRIVING MISS DAISY.
