About

I’m a team builder. Right now I’m singularly focused on building out the Forward Deployed Software Engineering (FDE) team at Gecko Robotics. We’ve taken the best pages out of proven playbooks while adapting a unique role to a company focused on robotics instead of data silos. There’s still data, tons of it, but instead of silos it’s sitting in boilers, vats, tanker floors, and pipes. Most of the time people don’t even know the true extent of the data they do own--but if they do, our deeper value add is building solutions that we don’t yet have. That’s our mission, rather, the mission of FDEs who are far more technical than I: make things people want, from scratch.
