Peter Kay is a feral entrepreneur that has launched 7 startups since 1982 and has been developing software since 1978, holding 6 technology patents. He is living a life that few can even dream about. He came to Hawaii in 1984 at age 21, didn’t know a single soul in the state and barely had a high school diploma. Today he and his wife (married in ‘92) spend most of their time walking to the beach from their house, swimming with sea turtles, and traveling around the world. Peter Kay was credited with launching the first commercial website in Hawaii, practically starting the commercial online industry here. If you’ve been in Hawaii long enough you’ll recall the famous “Peter Kay Computer Minute” radio vignette that aired for 20 years, making him a household name in the early 2000s. A lifelong entrepreneur that pulled almost all of his W2s from his own companies, he’s undoubtedly launching his next technology startup as you read this.
