Dedee Wilner-Nugent has over 25 years of nonprofit consulting experience in community-centric fundraising, capital campaigns, major gift fundraising, fundraising capacity building, fundraising assessment, leadership and organizational development, staff training and coaching, board training and engagement, and strategic planning. In 2018, Dedee's consulting firm, Wilner-Nugent Consulting LLC, partnered with The Varga Group, to provide support for feasibility study and capital campaign planning and counsel for a variety of Varga Group clients. Previously, Dedee served as the Director of Public Affairs for Central City Concern (CCC), one of the largest social service agencies in Oregon and a national leader in permanently ending homelessness and creating self sufficiency. In that role, she was responsible for generating approximately $2 million in philanthropic revenues annually. She also helped to support the organization's role in the Housing is Health Initiative, a unique partnership involving six health care organizations who worked together to develop 382 new housing units across three locations, including one with an integrated health center in Southeast Portland.
