I am deeply passionate about applying frontier tech to humanity's most pressing problems. I am an AI researcher by training and have published research at leading AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR). I graduated from Stanford (BS & MS) with degrees in Computer Science (AI) and significant coursework in Cognitive Science (minor in Symbolic Systems) and Sustainability. I am currently the Co-Founder of Terradot, a climate tech startup with a mission to unlock gigaton-scale carbon removal to stabilize earth's climate. My past work spans three impact domains: - Climate: (AI for Climate Change research under Prof. Andrew Ng) and Terradot (AI for Carbon Removal) - Accessibility: Microsoft (NLP for accessibility) and Uber (ML for Safety) - Refugees: Tarjimly (YC-backed tech nonprofit) and a tech project with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) I served as a commander (Infantry Platoon Sergeant) in the Singapore Armed Forces for 2 years prior to college, which instilled the service mindset in me, and recently represented Singapore as a Climate Youth Delegate at COP28, focusing on Article 6 negotiations.
