Shauna Goya Ichinotsubo

Certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma with a focus on helping improve business processes at Hawaii State FCU and assisting business units to become more efficient. Prior to her move into process improvement, Shauna managed branch communications for the Retail Division and the credit union's corporate policies and procedures, along with special projects designed to enhance the member experience. Shauna has more than 20 combined years of journalism/corporate communications/marketing/public relations experience, previously working at two PR agencies in Honolulu where she won several industry awards for her work and secured clients a variety of business/media awards. Before her move into public relations, she served as a copy editor and blogger at The Honolulu Advertiser. Previously served on the boards of Hawaii Society of Business Professionals, Social Media Club Hawaii, Honolulu Executives Association and Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaii. Currently a Cub Scout den leader and active with the school PTO. She is a University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate with a degree in journalism and speech.
