A versatile University of British Columbia Chemistry graduate with a strong foundation in analytical and environmental chemistry, coupled with a passion for education. I am pursuing opportunities in one of two fields: 1) as an Analytical Chemist or Lab Technician in industries like cosmetics, environmental testing, or food science, or 2) as a Tutor or Educational Content Creator, helping K-12 and university students master scientific concepts. On the technical side, I possess hands-on experience with a suite of laboratory instruments, including HPLC, GC-MS, and ICP-OES. I leveraged these skills in a capstone project where I developed a method to analyze cation levels in the Fraser River, from sample preparation to data interpretation. This experience solidified my abilities in problem-solving, technical writing, and meticulous data analysis. Parallel to my scientific training, I developed strong communication skills through an HR internship at a tutoring company, where I actively recruited and screened candidates.
