I am a backend applications engineer with Oracle Applications Labs. I have designed and implemented multiple backend features and APIs in Java for various Spring-boot micro-services in Oracle Applications Lab (OAL). During which I worked closely with produt managers to understand the business teams' requirements and leveraged on technologies like JPQL and Kafka to deliver solutions for business teams. The average go - live time for each API/feature is one Sprint. From upgrading applications to OAuth2-secured to provide novel features for the growing needs of business teams, I have had the privilege to deliver impact across the company. I have also created a custom implementation of Spring's cache interface. I was able to be in-charge of the project from day one: I saw the need of a distributed cache system across many existing micro-services and the lack of a cache provider that could be easily used by app developers. Therefore I took the initiative to create a Spring-integrated cache provider as a maven artifact, which leverages on Oracle's distributed coherence cache cluster and is agile compatible with existing applications.
