About
Space Biologist Researcher 👩🚀 | Ethical Scientist 🔬 | BS in BioMed 🏥 My work at Weill Cornell Medicine is pioneering research in space biology, specifically cultivating plants in lunar soil and studying antimicrobial resistance in extraterrestrial environments. With a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida, my journey from academic research in organoid vascularization to addressing challenges in space exemplifies a relentless pursuit of innovation. Concurrently writing about Space Biology with the Sustainable Technology Goals at Augmentation Lab, we are crafting ethical guidelines for advanced technology such as the newest applications of Synthetic Biology. I've researched bioprinting, vascularization of organoids, and lung-based organoids in Dr. Yong Huang's Lab. I also have 1.5 years of experience as a Monitor Support Technician at UF Health, where I supported the clinical staff and patients with the operation and maintenance of the medical facility. I am passionate about pioneering the field of Space Biology and improving the quality of life for people on and off planet earth.
