About
Elisa Chiu is an ecosystem architect, industry bridge-builder and cross-border capital strategist. She founded Anchor Global (formerly Anchor Taiwan | Anchor Asia) and Anchor Venture Partners in 2017 to advance Asia’s innovation landscape through collaboration, venture partnerships, and catalytic industry initiatives. Prior to Anchor, Elisa built her career on Wall Street, trading and overseeing over US$1 billion in Pan-Pacific Asia assets across top-tier investment banks and hedge funds. She later deepened her exposure in Silicon Valley, gaining first-hand experience in early-stage tech and startup ecosystems. This combination of global finance, sector insight and cross-border execution enables her to build platforms at the convergence of capital, technology, mobility, semiconductors, supply chains and urban systems. Over the past decade, Elisa has designed and led multi-stakeholder collaborations across these domains, connecting corporates, investors, startups and government partners from 15+ countries. Her work blends ecosystem design, capital strategy and industry-level convening to create structural impact beyond traditional VC or corporate innovation models. In 2024, Elisa launched Bike Venture, a cross-border innovation program with TAIPEI CYCLE—Asia’s leading cycling expo—creating an unprecedented platform connecting the global bike sector with tech founders, cross-industry partners and strategic capital. She later extended these efforts to EUROBIKE and Taichung Bike Week, strengthening collaboration at the intersection of mobility, technology and industry transformation. In 2025, she was recognized by Zag Daily as one of the Top 100 Mobility Changemakers. Her other initiatives include Weave Venture (textile industry transformation), the Anchor Corporate Venturing Roundtable (CVC leaders from 100+ enterprises), Anchor Women in Venture (a network of 100+ female investors) and the Anchor Innovation Summit (a flagship cross-sector convening shaping industry dialogue and direction). Elisa is a sought-after speaker, interviewer and facilitator at leading technology and industry forums, with recent appearances at The Economist Impact, Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), SEMICON, Arm Symposia, Cartier CWI Ecosystem Forum, Infineon’s OktoberTech™, and others. She is a global citizen, a builder at heart, a student of life, a failed war zone photojournalist and a cyclist.

Asia Venturing is a curated online roundtable series I conceived, built, and hosted in partnership with DIGITIMES, examining the hype vs. reality of Asia’s supply-chain-driven innovation ecosystem. From concept design and commercial development to speaker curation, moderation, editorial framing, and post-production, I led the end-to-end creation of the series. The program brought together global industry leaders, corporate strategists, seasoned investors, and founders to translate complex industrial dynamics into strategic, cross-border narratives for an international audience. Positioned at the intersection of industry, venture, and geopolitics, Asia Venturing became one of the few Asia-based programs capable of combining board-level strategy with industry-grade storytelling—going beyond trend talk to deliver actionable roadmaps for corporate venturing, partnerships, and international expansion. Key contributions * Initiated and designed the Asia Venturing program from the ground up * Led partnership and business development with DIGITIMES * Curated and invited senior-level speakers across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. * Hosted and moderated sessions with a strategic, cross-industry lens * Oversaw editorial direction, post-production, and global distribution This experience reflects my broader focus on hosting and producing international-facing conversations that connect Asia’s industrial strength with global innovation and investment dialogues.
