About
Some problems look like product problems, but most of them aren't. They're translation problems. Between what a user actually experiences and what a system was built to do, between what got promised and what got built, between the people closest to the work and the people making decisions about it. I've spent my career in that gap. For nearly nine years I've worked in auto casualty insurance technology, specifically the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that makes everything downstream possible. Document intake. Workflow orchestration. Structured data. The part nobody thinks about until it breaks. I know where it breaks, and I know why. And I remember what we already tried. I care most that the people doing the work feel understood, and that the people making decisions have what they need to make good ones. Bridging that distance, in a workflow most people outside it never have to think about, is where I've built my career.
