Many know the phrase "curiosity killed the cat." Fewer know the second half: "but satisfaction brought it back." To me, that reflects the process of building, asking questions, not always liking the answers, running into bottlenecks, but learning from them and using that knowledge to build something better. I didn't just want to understand how things work. I wanted to build things, test things, even break things, and of course, improve things. I'm currently a 2nd-year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo, interested in full-stack development and automation with AI. That mindset has taken me from coding my first websites in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to building projects involving training computer vision AI models, full-stack websites used by 1,100+ users, and even tinkering with some hardware integrations like NFCs to understand systems end-to-end. I'm drawn to problems that sit at the intersection of software and real-world impact. Whether that's automating a tedious workflow, improving how users interact with a product, or figuring out why something broke at 2am (and fixing it by 3). What drives me?
