👋 Hi! I’m Sophia, a second-year student at the Waterloo currently studying Financial Analysis and Risk Management (FARM). I strive to combine my coding expertise and passion for finance to make meaningful contributions to impactful projects in a professional setting. Recently at Ontario’s Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS), I supported risk management across 30 ministries - reviewing budgets (EN/FR), stress-testing forecasts, and helping keep provincial operations fiscally sustainable. I also partnered with developers on ORBIT (Ontario’s resource & budget platform) to run Azure-based user testing, flag UX issues, and speed up decision-making. On the operations side, I maintained records and secure access for 3,000+ users and used Excel PivotTables to validate planning-cycle data and templates for accuracy and compliance. 🍭 When I'm not studying, you'll catch me going to the gym, creating content, playing video games, and trying out new foods. 🌟 Currently seeking winter 2026 internships!
