About

I am a passionate 2nd year ECE student with a growing interest in FPGAs, robotics, and computer architecture. My current pièce de résistance exists as a full 8-bit Minecraft CPU, capable of functioning as a proper computer. This project took many years to develop and consists of a custom-designed register file, ALU, ROM, instruction set, and a Python assembler to accompany it. I plan to recreate this computer, but using 16-bit memory with a vastly expanded instruction set. This aspect of computers is very interesting to me, and motivates me to continue to learn and develop my skills.
