Daniel is an empathic problem solver with strengths in logic and communication. An unwavering idealist, Daniel is impact-driven and looks for opportunities to apply himself to the world’s most important and urgent problems. After graduating early from Stanford with two degrees in Computer Science, Daniel joined Palantir as a Forward Deployed Engineer to work on important problems that Silicon Valley engineers are only very rarely exposed to. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, Daniel had a unique product- and business-oriented exposure to full-stack engineering. Daniel was quickly promoted to lead an engineering team working to optimize processes for the Center for Disease Control. Daniel’s strengths have drawn him to roles in entrepreneurship, product, and software engineering, but he isn’t wedded to a particular role or field--he tends to gravitate toward whatever and wherever growth and impact can be optimized. Currently, Daniel is honing his entrepreneurial skills by incubating his own online businesses while traveling around the world. While he is not currently searching for full-time employment, he is open to remote part-time work on a consulting or contract basis.
