Jackson Galan

About

A software engineer with 7 years of web development experience, Jackson focuses on end-to-end application development for startups and small businesses. His current projects include static sites, SPAs, and CLI tools. His language stack features C, Python, Go, and JavaScript. As a technologist of principle, he doesn't always use an IDE, but when he does, he prefers Emacs.Lately, Jackson has been working as the human in the loop: evaluating AI-generated code, pull requests, and chat responses against detailed rubrics, and bringing an engineer's eye to questions of correctness, style, and reasoning. As a reviewer, he audits and calibrates other annotators' work to keep labeling quality high. It turns out that knowing how to write the code makes you rather good at judging it.Interested to collaborate?
