My interests are at the intersection of security, and distributed systems. I am a security-specialized SRE, with a background in SWE as well. Since the age of 10, I have used programming as an expression of creativity, along the way I have engineered new and innovative solutions to everyday problems through the power of code. It has been a long journey, from web developer as a tween, selling my first website at the age of 15, to eventually being an independent contractor who has sold full-stack applications to clients. Along the way I studied computer science at the University of California, San Diego - and also interned/ worked at: Xerox, Intel, LinkedIn, Apple. Currently I'm at the cybersecurity firm, Palo Alto Networks, a big name in the security space that has led the charge on defense and offense against global cyberthreats. Nowadays, I personally focus my skillset on designing defensive solutions for large distributed systems, infrastructure, networks, and application-level code.
