I wish I could take credit for the big and bold new strategy that we’ve just announced at Careswitch, offering our core home care platform for free. However, this was all the workings of the phenomenal team at Careswitch. Careswitch would be nowhere without each of them. On the surface one might believe that as a software business we are a sterile, technical, and inanimate, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We are in the people business. We do the invisible work allowing for two people to come together hand in hand. While the world continues to quickly develop around us there is yet, and will likely never be, a replacement for the caring hand of another. What makes the world of home care go round and round are the tens of thousands of agencies in every local community across the country. And it is on behalf of these agencies that millions of caregivers do their saintly work. And just like me, all of these businesses know they are nothing without their caregivers.
